Smoking items and souvenirs may not always reach the level of art and skill that this metal ashtray achieves. It is a really beautiful example of souvenir tourist craft. It is a white metal base with glass dome covering the Nikko temple. Marked "MADE IN JAPAN". It is 5" diameter and has no damage, was never used for its intent. It has great decorations around the outside also. An attractive conversation piece and a collectible that will grow in value.

A set of four monkeys, made in the mudman form from China. Made for small rock gardens or bonsai or just for a miniature colledtion. About 20 years old, export quality but a lot of hand work
,ones with peach are about 1 1/4". This type of handwork takes time and this type of export work will become more valuable and collectible as fewer craftsmen do this type of work. A good value for cute pieces.

This is the last of several of these unique and beautiful painted cloisonne vases I have. It was in my personal collection for years. I found these in their original packing box. They were old at the time and had never been out of their original packing. As photos show, they are cloisonne with large front and back open areas that have been overglaze painted, then kiln fired into the enamel. This is a difficult and rarely seen technique. The vase will come with the wood base. The vase alone is 8 ...click for details
