Rare undamaged tiny mudmen figures. Great details, all fingers etc present and intact. A pair of musicians. Pipe and harp. A wood stick could be placed in pipers hands if desired. This pair is 1 1/2" tall, 3" wide at base. A set that was found in China in a warehouse that had stock decades old and never sold. High fired "mud" clay.

These sets were made for the trade to show the step by step process of making a cloisonne piece. The set is undamaged and comes with original display presentation box. Each vase follows the same pattern through all the hand done steps of making a finished product. The vases in this set are a bit larger than most that were made for this type of display. Up for sale are three charming export novelty Buddhas. They are at least 70 years old, may be older. They are all a little different. Each hand painted with fired on over glaze. One marked "made in china". They are about 1 1/2" tall. Great little bonsai figures.

All eight undamaged figures in original shipping box. This set has all the charm of the crude export ware that was made in China about 80 years ago. The stamp paper on the box says "Made in Free China" it most likely was made on the mainland, but due to American bans on Chinese made products these early pieces were marked this way. The figures are crude, but they were made for export and meant to sell for very little money. What is very rare is that there are all 8, with original box. ...click for details

This very colorful rose canton ginger jar was made probably 60 or 70 years ago. Not quite antique, but old style and mark. It has thick overglaze enamel colors and a great deal of hand work. Some stamping with black outlines which indicates its age. It has no damage and is in like new condition. It is 5" high and about 5" wide. This age piece is still a very good price. These are now much harder to find and going up in price all the time. Now is a good time to buy.
