Another rare find. This very tiny mudman boat with two figures has survived over 1/2 a century with no damage. There is a sitting figure at the end of the boat and another tiny sitting with in the boat. The sitting figure is about 1/4" tall, 1 cm. Vintage micro mudmen in a boat. High fired traditional high iron content clay is used to hand make each of these detailed dish garden figures. They are marked HongKong helps date to about 50 years ago. Remarkable for no missing parts. Two figures one with arms out standing and one sitting within the boat. You can see from the USA dime that they are about 2 /12" long, less than 1/2" tall. This grand pair of toads has gone for an outing. One big fat one atop a friend. It has charm and humor and also exceptional carving. A substantial piece of mastadon ivory of excellent quality. This piece is 2 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide and 1" deep. Not old,but by an old master carver. This quality is hard to find and will increase in value as we loose skilled carvers. It is an outstanding addition to a collection.

A tour-de-fource of skilled carving. This is an outstanding, delicate and very ornate piece of mastadon ivory. It has been carved in China by a master carver. It is not old, but I am not sure of exact age. Within the past 20 years I assume. It is of great value for the skill of carving, not for the age. It is 2" tall, 1 1/2" wide and almost 1" deep. The pictures speak for themself and you will not this quality for this price in the short future.

One of the best of the early [1920s] Jardiniere designs. This early design Brush McCoy is #249. It is 7" top diameter and 6 1/2" tall. It has better than most coloration with brown at the top flowing into a green bottom. It has no visible or audial damage. Not sure of exact age of this piece, but it is early. This is a very strange beast. It is a handcarved stone, not sure what type, but is is harder than soapstone. It has the look of an Indonesion demond, part lion, part dragon, part dog. It is 3" tall. Spoon held by hat-cap. It is newer. A really odd piece of art-collectible snuff bottle. Never seen one quite like it.

A really good piece of lost wax casting bronze tribal art. This small box has a crocodile atop it. It is 2" long and about 1 1/4" tall. It is a primitive hand made piece so the top is not an exact factory type fit. It is a very unusual piece of African art and it is at least 50 years old. A really unique treasure.

This is a traditional Indian toy with a brass animal on wheels. This is a smaller version than most. It is 2 1/2" tall and rare for this miniature size. As you can see it is a lost wax casting, primitive but very charming. It is a rider atop an Elephant. Probably 40 to 50 years old. A nice piece.

An outstanding piece of sculpting and casting. This is a solid cast bronze from China. It is a wise man atop a foo dog-lion. It is about 3" long and 3" wide. It is about 30 years old and it is a very smart investment for the future.

You see a framed replica of a very ornate cigarette paper box from a Chinese antique. The material I cast these from is a composite stone, same materian museums use for some of there replicas. It has a brilliant gold acrylic finish. The easil frame is 4 3/4" X 6 3/4". It could be converted to hang on a wall. Very elegant and expensive look. My own original so you will not see it elsewhere.
