Only nature could produce this wonderful geometry and only time could produce this fossil. It is a fossil nautilus snuff bottle, cut in half and polished. It will come with the nice lucite display stand. It is 2" wide at wide point, wood top, bone spoon. Wonderful irridescence of back side. Both rock and snuff bottle collectors will appreciate this unique specimen.

This small 2" tall carving packs a lot of style. It is a Chinese beast of Myth. A combination of several animals, a lot of Lion. It was carved at least 20 years ago. It looks better than photos which did not capture the true soft jade like qualities of the stone.

An outstanding snuff bottle. Beautiful Serpentine Jade. Wonderful carving with 2 li Dragons as handles. Key design on bottom rim. Bone spoon. This bottle is 3" tall, 1/2" thick and well hollowed out. It looks much more expensive than my price now, and I am sure it will do better than the stock market as a term investment and something wonderful to look at while it grows in value. Not new, it is probably at least a few decades old.

If were to charge per hour at a sub-minimum pay, this beautiful hand cut and assembled paper model would cost much more. I do these wonderful paper models because I like to do them, and I love seeing my finished efforts. This is the Cirque Miniature, an Epinal antique print paper model. In a short time most reverse painted snuff bottles being done in China will use a phototransfer technique, not hand painted. Some are very hard to tell. A pair of undamaged, unused covered ceremonial bowls. They are Chinese and based on the export stickers [still attached] they are early 20th century. Very unusual red glaze. The plump traditional prosperity Buddha, or childrens buddha is the choice for this nice snuff bottle. Cinnabar has gone through many transitions in China. The older softer is quite toxic to workers and collectors. This is a type of cinnabar that was put into production about 30 years ago. It is a newer form of cinnabar, not as soft or toxic as older. This type of snuff bottle was made in one factory. They are not common. It is mouth blown glass with ring in ring sides. It is very well painted in reverse from the inside of the bottle. It comes in original fabric covered box. This one is not new, a good estimate would be two to three decades old. It is almost 3 1/2" tall. A really lovely piece.

A rare souvenir snuff bottle given at Hong Kong Mahjong parlors. It is porcelain with a stone stopper and bone spoon. It is about 3 1/2" tall. It has bottom mark. 3 different tile symbols and Hongkong stamp. Really unique for collectors, I have not seen these before. Not sure of time period, but came from eatate collection with most pieces 30 plus years old.

Fine quality heavy lead crystal cut into a snuff bottle. The inside has been handpainted by a very skilled reverse painter. This bottle is an outstanding quality and a little taller than most snuff bottles, it is about 5 3/4" tall with carnelian stopper and bone spoon. It is at least one decade old. It has tiny flaws, probably blowout chips resulting from hand polishing look like white specs on the yellow dragon side.
