The glaze color and density, the metal fittings and some indication of actual use indicated this lovely object is an antique. It has a celadon glazed porcelain body and metal fittings. The stem pulls out, there is a metal bowl and stem cleaner attached by a chain, there is also a small handle. The body was filled with water, so this pipe could be used for a number of substances. I am not really sure of the age on these very attractive vases, so I will go with this catagory. They both have bottom marks that I can not read. They are 5 3/4" and 6 1/2". Not an exact pair but a match because of the direction of the serpentine dragons on each. These pieces are heavy cast porcelain with a beautiful peacock green-blue glaze that is quite rare. An attractive figure from China made of soft brown porcelain. This type of figure is typical of reformation communist era art that depicted the workers rather than the Gods and Buddhas. The prices on these very old, probably antique heavy copper snuff bottles are jumping up every time I run across one. They were made for export at the turn of the last century in China. A wonderful recreation in sculptural form from a famous Dali Painting. This flying tiger is a product of The Netherlands. The Parastone company produces a number of highly detailed, high quality sculptural renderings of a number of paintings. This one is new in original packing. The tiger is 6" long and it comes with stand which is 6" tall. I first saw these pieces in Amsterdam and was amazed by their quality. I offer them here as they are not easy to find in the USA.

A very pretty hand carved bone cricket cage. This is the smaller of the ones I offer for sale. It is Chinese and all hand worked, one at a time. It is about 3" tall, 2 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" deep. Door opens and it has an attractive eternal knot pattern on the top. It comes in lined storage-gift box.

I have excellent connections with the China trades and I am able to sell very good quality hand painted snuff bottles for a very low price. This new bottle is hand painted from the inside, not a decal image found on many new "reverse painted" snuff bottles. It is good quality heavy crystal glass and it does come in the lined silk brocade gift-storage box. It is 4" tall and has carnelian cap with ivory-bone spoon.

A very attractive "new" cinnabar box. Four horses in waves and clouds pattern. It is not the older type of cinnabar with toxic mercury laquer. It is a red composition cinnabar on a black composition base. It is 3 3/4' square and about 1 3/4" tall. Has a lot of nice detailing and has a very decorative look for the cost, would make a dramatic table piece or memorable gift.
