| A number of years ago, when the Chinese first started hand carving reproductions of Japanese netsukes, I was able to hand pick the best of hundreds. The two turtles netske you see here is top quality carving with outstanding details. There are cheap ones now carved and offered online, but not this quality. This intricate netsuke is 1 3/8" tall and 1 7/8" long, the perfect size seen in the original Japanese carvings that are much more expensive, and do not look different than these fine Chinese carvings | ||
