| I work with the importer and I am allowed to hand pick from his many carvings. He knows all of his Chinese carvers and told me that this very intricate Li Dragon took one of his oldest and best carvers several days to carve from a solid block of hard fruitwood. This beautiful piece is 1 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" long. I list it with Netsukes, but it is a bit delicate to really function as a Netsuke, it is just an outstanding miniature carving. A very unique piece of art. | ||
