| Perhaps a play on the tale of the mouse and the elephant or a very large mouse and small elephant, or just a charming carving. I pick the best of hundreds of well hand carved netsukes that are Chinese reproductions of Japanese originals. Mine cost more than the cheaper ones you now see online, but my quality is much better than those carved today by younger unskilled carvers. This piece is about 1 3/4" tall and 2" wide. A real charmer. | ||
