Pottery by the "three sisters", Ella Irving, Olive Cottier and Bernice Talbot is simple, elegant and historically significant. During the 1930's the Work progress Admin established a boarding school on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation in South Dakota, and hired Bruce Doyle to operate a ceramics program for the students.
