A fine pastel painted portrait of the Austrian Count Ferdinand von klebelsberg as a baby. We could not find any genealogical/biographical information about him. Possibly he died in early childhood. In conjunction with the other two listed portraits of Von Klebelsberg children and judging the style of painting we may assume that this portrait was also painted in or around the year 1778. A superb pastel painted portrait of the young Austrian Count Franz von Klebelsberg, born 1774-died 1857, Cityholder of Thumburg (1829-1830). Here the boy was about 4 years old, dating this portrait to circa 1778. The wooden frame dates from the same period. The portrait has been reframed in the mid-19th century in a kind of shallow casette with a pressed gold-paper lining holding the protective glass pane. A fine Greek Apulian red-figure olpe, superbly painted with a woman wearing a chiton and various jewelry, striding to right but looking back to the left while holding up an offering dish on her left hand and with an egg (symbol of rebirth) in her right hand. With added details in white. Also a palmette below the handle, flanked by large volutes. Date: circa 340-320 BC. Height: 8.5 cm. Superb intact condition without repairs! Ex German private collection.

A good Dutch wine glass of robust form, circa 1770. The bell bowl with large bulbous compartment below above a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem composed of 4 spiral threads surrounding a central gauze. Wide conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Soda metal with a few small impurities and air bubbles. Good tool marks and striations on bowl and foot. Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no polishing of rims. Height: 16.3 cm. Rim diameter: 6.4 cm. Foot diameter: 7.5 cm.

A beautiful and rare 18th century canary color twist wine glass, probably Dutch or Paderborn/Lauenstein (Germany) manufacture, dating to circa 1760. The funnel bowl on a tapering slim stem which widens above the foot, the stem with three yellow canary-colored spiral threads and a single possibly accidental air twist.
