Beautiful Greek Apulian red-figure olpe decorated with a finely painted woman’s head ("lady of fashion") en profile to left. Added details in white. A fine Greek Apulian red-figure olpe, superbly painted with a woman wearing a chiton and various jewelry, striding to right but looking back to the left while holding up an offering dish on her left hand and with an egg (symbol of rebirth) in her right hand. With added details in white. Also a palmette below the handle, flanked by large volutes. Date: circa 340-320 BC. Height: 8.5 cm. Superb intact condition without repairs! A magnificent large Messapian pottery jar with two strap handles. South Italy, 4th Century BC. Painted orange-red color decoration consisting of horizontal bands and lines, a single row of dots on the shoulder and a zig-zag wavy line below the rim. Height: approx. 20.5 cm. Diameter of rim: 17.3 cm. Excellent intact condition. No cracks, no restorations. A few small chips to the rim edges. Some calcareous encrustations, mainly inside. Ex German private collection.

A rare large Etruscan skyphos with dark gray matte glaze and black color palmette decoration. South Etruria (Caere?), late 4th to early 3rd Century BC. Type belonging to "Gruppo Ferrara T 585". A considerable collection of these skyphoi (mostly broken, repaired or incomplete) is on display in the archaeological museum of Populonia, Tuscany, Italy. Height: 16,2 cm. A fine Greek Apulian black glazed olpe with vertically ribbed body, circa 350 BC. The transition between shoulder and neck is marked with a finely decorated thin "rope". Two-fold vertical handle. Lustrous black glaze with etched root marks in places. Height: 11.3 cm. In excellent condition. Small and hardly visible professional repair to the rim. No cracks. Dutch art market.
