A lovely vintage Mexican silver pin with untreated turquoise embellishments. This piece, expertly worked in repousse, is a stylized owl with interesting, intricate stamp work that bespeaks of an influence from the taller of Matilde Poulat. A clearly early piece, ca. 1930s-40s, so strongly resembles that of Maestra Poulat (in terms of line, design, silver gauge, workmanship) that I do wonder if it is not, in fact, an unmarked piece from her taller. Exceptionally well executed vintage Mexican silver brooch. An agave plant of excellent silver smithing ~ created in repousse by M. Velazquez. This little known silversmith's work is rarely seen. The few pieces that I have been fortunate to have -- all have had a design or construction relationship to the very earliest work of Matilde Poulat. A beautiful, vintage, jeweled bracelet from Matl-Salas. This lovely, early piece is built around finely cut amethysts that are then framed out with classically sculpted silver detailing. Open backed settings enhance the luminous quality of each stone. In excellent vintage condition; and well sized at 7 5/8" long by 1 5/8" wide. Fully and correctly hallmarked for late Matilde Poulat and/or very early Ricardo Salas. A lovely, fine vintage Mexican silver piece.

A lovely, early pair of vintage jeweled earrings by Ricardo Salas. This elegant pair of earrings features a lovely shape that gently bells out from top to bottom and are beautifully finished with finely cut amethysts in an open-backed setting. They are in excellent vintage condition with well functioning, secure screw back fastens. Near perfection length of 1 3/" by 1 1/8" wide. Fully and correctly hallmarked for their very early vintage.
