Very pretty chandelier style earrings inspired by the traditional designs of the Mazahua people of Mexico. The use of these elements -- doves, flowers, hearts, and roses -- is part of the earliest jewelry designs of this indigenous group from Mexico. It would also appear to have been, at least in part, a source of inspiration for the beautiful work of Matilde Poulat. This pair are hand made -- including hand sawing and repousse work -- and are open backed allowing for wonderful illumination of t ...click for details

Rare and beautiful vintage Mexican silver bracelet by Margot de Taxco. This lovely revisionist piece is the only I have seen. Geometric patterning, which appears to have been entirely hand done (as compared to many of Margot's cast work), wraps effortlessly around the wrist. In excellent vintage condition - correctly marked (as shown) for an early Margot design and piece. Measuring 6 7/8" long by 1 3/8" wide. A delicate and still bold piece.

A most charming vintage Mexican silver pin. This early (ca. 1930s) repousse pin captures with much personality and detail a constant in the village life of Mexico: the burro. Measuring 2 1/2" long and 3" across. Finished with a green hued turquoise. In excellent vintage condition and closing with a well functioning pin/lock. Marked for its silver content (as shown) "Plata, Sterling, 925". A most happy piece of vintage Mexican silver.

Beautiful vintage Mexican silver ring inspired by the designs of Matilde Poulat.
A wonderful ring, embellished with turquoise and a central, faceted amethyst. I have had a similar design by Matilde Poulat and bought this one for its remarkably accurate rendition of the design. The top, embellished layer is set on high with an intricate frieze of silver lattice work around the middle. Measuring just over 3/4" square and sitting just over 1/4" proud when worn. Ring measures a 9 to 9 1/4 ...click for details
