Large scale 'birdcage' design by Maestro Antonio Pineda. A personal favorite among a pantheon of personal favorites, the 'birdcage' design stands the test of time. A heavy, dramatic piece, larger scale whose inspiration was, according to Don Antonio, was the very Cosmos. This piece is fully and correctly hallmarked with both the Antonio Crown, the Eagle Stamp No. 17, 970, and the design/inventory number of ZZ679. In excellent vintage condition. A monumental, masterful piece.

Wonderful and rare vintage jeweled hair ornament by Matilde Poulat, ca. 1940s. This early piece features a central, hand cut amethyst accented with untreated richly colored coral. Classic swirls of silver complete the piece to perfection. In excellent vintage condition. Closes with locking mechanism. Measures 2 1/4" by 1" wide. Fully and correctly hallmarked as shown. A marvelous, opulent hair accent.

A lovely and unusual variation on this Fred Davis design. This vintage Mexican silver, amethyst bracelet is characterized by two rows of amethyst cabochons for a total of 20 amethysts run down the center of one side of this wider, early silver piece. Bordering this double row of amethysts are row of alternating sized semi-spheres. The opposing side of the piece features four rows of the largest semi-spheres. A rather fine and early example of the work of Matilde Poulat. Vintage Mexican silver necklace with coral and turquoise embellishments. Central butterfly form has articulated wings that 'flutter' and capture the light when worn. Exceptional ~ museum quality vintage Mexican silver bracelet by Maestro Antonio Pineda. One of his finest pieces: this silver bracelet captures in silver both the body and the spirit of the shark. Done in what appears to be a hollow ware technique and utilizing blue dyed tigereye to create the fins and the water out of which it rises. The push portion of the close features a small fish. Fully and correctly hallmarked as shown. In excellent vintage condition. A singular masterpiece.
