Very nice vintage Mexican silver and amethyst tube bracelet by Margarita. This lovely piece is done much in the style of Antonio Pineda - both in terms of design and in terms of fine craftsmanship. Tubes of amethyst are 'floating' in the center of concave links of silver. In fine vintage condition with some flea bites to the amethyst - consistent with age. A pair of excellent repousse cuffs from the very talented Mexico City father and son(s) taller of Ortega. Beautiful and masterful repousse throughout. A design that blends colonial and indigenous elements into a sculptural whole that would seem to be the embodiment of Mexico and her cultural history. This lovely pair of cuffs has a sleek, elegant line embellished with five pearls of graduating size. Measuring 5 1/2" with a 1" opening and 1/2" wide. At the center the bracelets are 3/8" deep.
