Traditionally designed Mazahua silver earrings with garnet from Mexico. Hand smithed. Beautiful, detailed repousse work throughout. Inspired by traditional themes of the adornment of these indigenous peoples. Very similar in look, feel, and construction to the work of Matilde Poulat. Very pretty chandelier style earrings inspired by the traditional designs of the Mazahua people of Mexico. The use of these elements -- doves, flowers, hearts, and roses -- is part of the earliest jewelry designs of this indigenous group from Mexico.
