| Traditionally designed Mazahua silver earrings with garnet from Mexico. Hand smithed. Beautiful, detailed repousse work throughout. Inspired by traditional themes of the adornment of these indigenous peoples. Very similar in look, feel, and construction to the work of Matilde Poulat. Many of the symbols express a particular idea or emotion. This pair are created with, among other things, doves of love, a hand of friendship, garnet for blood, and a flower of sincerity. Quite lovely and nicely sized. Measure 2 5/8" long by 1 1/4" wide. | |||||||
