| Fabulous vintage leather purse by Char. Char Blankenship lived down in Mexico years ago. While there, she fused her style ideas with the wonderful leather working artistry of Mexican craftsman. The two were a happy marriage and created a line of leather wear and leather purses that remain sought after today. This delightful purse features patchwork pieces of leather whipstitched together. Further embellishments are found in painted panels of leather. Warm rich brown hues. The patchwork theme is carried through to the mulitple colors of leather stitching ~ browns, caramels, and bordeaux. In vintage condition reflecting normal wear and its age. Some spotting on the interior and as photographed on the bottom. Measures 10" high by 9" across by 3 1/2" deep. A terrific vintage piece - mid 1960s-70s. | ||||||||||||||
