| Beautiful vintage Matilde Poulat Necklace. Emblematic of Matl's designs and pieces are those such as this known as "Palomas y Rosas" (Doves and Roses). A series of repousse created links in the form of her well known 's' link and ferns finishes at the central element of two doves, facing each other with a rose between them. Correctly hallmarked as shown, ca. 1930s-40s. Very wearable length of 18 1/4". Doves are approximately 2" long by 1 3/4" wide. (Please note slight variation in size of each dove due to hand made origins.) Central rose drops 2 3/4". Weighs 82.3 grams. Excellent vintage condition with soft, warm wear pattern visible. A fine vintage piece, with a mysterious, feminine appeal, that transcends time and place. | ||||||||||||||
