| An important, monumentally scaled vintage Mexican silver and turquoise bracelet by Mexican Silver Master Matilde Poulat. This very early piece features beautifully sculpted repousse links against a central stylized nautilus detail. Set into this silver design is a beautiful, larger matrix rich turquoise cabochon. Bearing the earliest of block hallmarks by Matilde Poulat and a silver content mark of 900. An important piece both for its unusually large scale, rarely seen design, and also for its very interesting linking system --- unlike any piece I have ever seen --- and thus quite clearly one of her very first pieces. Measuring 7" long by 1 7/8" wide. In excellent vintage condition. A rare opportunity, from my personal collection. | |||||||||||||
