Charming antique Minton transferware platter in the “Spot and Wreath” pattern. Green and white geometric border frames a floral wreath in the center. Super 19th century green and white Staffordshire transferware dessert plates in the “Arcadia” pattern. Center motif of an eastern ruin in a landscape surrounded by cartouches of cows, sheep and castles. These measure 8 ¾” diameter and are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; one has a few crazing lines and the other a teensy edge nick. Marked as shown, I would date these to C1840. Beautiful Staffordshire polychrome tureen in a brown and white transferware with hand-painted flowers in rust and lavender with green leaves. This tureen is not marked, but the pattern is identical to the Ridgway dessert service that I have, so I am attributing it to that pottery. It is in very good condition with just a ¼” nick on the underside of the rim of the base and a line on the under side of the base that is faint and only visible if you hold it upside down.
