Beautiful Staffordshire polychrome tureen in a brown and white transferware with hand-painted flowers in rust and lavender with green leaves. This tureen is not marked, but the pattern is identical to the Ridgway dessert service that I have, so I am attributing it to that pottery. It is in very good condition with just a ¼” nick on the underside of the rim of the base and a line on the under side of the base that is faint and only visible if you hold it upside down. Lovely early Staffordshire hand-painted dessert serving dish with a geometric transfer design in the center framed by a light blue border with hand-painted sprays of flowers and dark blue and gold handles. No maker’s marks to help identify the pottery but I would date this to C1850. It measures 9 ¼” x 11 ½” and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, just a bit of fine crazing.
Shipping/insurance in the continental USA will be $14.50.

Lovely C1850 Staffordshire polychrome fruit bowl in the “Festoon” pattern. Brown and white geometric border with garlands of flowers framing a central floral panel in reds, blues, gold, green and purple. The exterior has a band of decoration as well. This bowl is 9” diameter by 2 ¾” high and in super condition—no chips, cracks or crazing. Marked as shown, and I haven’t been able to identify the maker from my references, but I bought it in England and would date it to C1850.
