Lovely Staffordshire blue transferware plate in the “Windsor Festoon” pattern by John and William Ridgway, C1820. Pretty center with flowers and a butterfly framed by a floral border and rope edging. This plate measures 10 ¼” in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Marked as shown. It’s unusual as there is a tiny hole at about 12 o’clock so that the plate could be hung by a ribbon!

Wonderful oversized Minton platter in the “Shah Japan” pattern. Great yellows, greens and blues decorate this platter with a slightly oriental feel. Measures 13 ½” x 17 ½” and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, a very minor bit of crazing and a bit of wear to the glaze on the rim. The mark dates this to about the turn of the century.

Pretty Staffordshire polychrome platter by Cauldon in the “Jessamine” pattern. Delicate floral border in autumn colors with geometric trim and nice shape. This platter is enormous and measures 13 ½” x 16 ½”. It is in excellent shape, with no chips, cracks or crazing; there is some use wear visible on the back only. This pattern was registered in 1915. I have another platter in the same pattern that is not quite as large as this one.

Pretty Copeland and Garrett brown transferware and polychrome small tureen stand with a large bouquet of flowers in the center framed by a geometric border with cartouches of flowers. It measures 7 ½” in diameter and is in good condition with no cracks or crazing; just a chip on the back (not visible from the top) and two small nicks in the rim of the well. Printed and impressed marks date this to C1840. Please see my other items for another piece in this pretty pattern.

Staffordshire blue transferware covered vegetable dish in the popular “Asiatic Pheasants” pattern. It measures 8 ½” x 10 ½” x 6” high to the top of the finial. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing; there is some roughness and a bit of discoloration on the edge of one of the handles. I would date it to the third quarter of the 19th century, as I can’t make out the mark enough to help identify it further.

Lovely C1850 Staffordshire polychrome fruit bowl in the “Festoon” pattern. Brown and white geometric border with garlands of flowers framing a central floral panel in reds, blues, gold, green and purple. The exterior has a band of decoration as well. This bowl is 9” diameter by 2 ¾” high and in super condition—no chips, cracks or crazing. Marked as shown, and I haven’t been able to identify the maker from my references, but I bought it in England and would date it to C1850.
