| Very unusual Tartan Ware stamp box with four interior compartments. It measures 4 ¼” long by 1 ¾” deep by ½” high. No Tartan name on the lid. The exterior is in excellent condition with no problems that I can see. There is considerable wear to the blue morocco on the base. On the inside of the lid there are some numbers written in pencil and a series of short lines that appear to have been made by a pen. I bought this on a recent trip to England and thought it was really different. I’ve been collecting tartanware for many years and have never seen a piece like this one.
