| Super 19th century green and white Staffordshire transferware dessert plates in the “Arcadia” pattern. Center motif of an eastern ruin in a landscape surrounded by cartouches of cows, sheep and castles. These measure 8 ¾” diameter and are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; one has a few crazing lines and the other a teensy edge nick. Marked as shown, I would date these to C1840.
