This gypsy ring is made from 18 kt gold, in a lovely rich yellow. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has nice decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that I can’t decipher. It weighs .14 oz, and is approximately a size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition.

This pretty little pin is very Art Nouveau! A lady’s face is surrounded by ribbons and flourishes, some set with seed pearls. It is either 9kt gold or gold filled; I just can’t tell. 1-1/8” x 7/8”. Her nose and chin are a little worn, and the metal could use brightening up a bit, otherwise, it’s in excellent antique condition. The pin stem assembly is mounted in a somewhat unusual fashion – please see photos. Circa 1900.

This delicate little lady is the famous Lady in a Garden of Irises made by Jean-Baptiste-Emile Dropsy, one of the famous French medalists. The design was usually made out of a heavy gold plate, but this one is 18k rosy gold, unmarked but tested. Signed by Dropsy on the front, as is usual with French medals, it measures ½” in diameter (with the jump ring, 7/8”), and weighs 1.5g. It could be worn as a pendant or a very classy charm. In excellent condition, showing a gentle patina, and Circa 1900. ...click for details

Here is a sweet little pin, measuring 7/8” across. It’s very autumnal, with leaves enameled in shades of green, yellow and orange, alternating with leaves set with 3 seed pearls each, and centering another seed pearl. The findings are original, with a neat security clasp. On the clasp is a makers mark of an arrow with a circle at the end, probably for Robert Klitz, of New York. No hallmarks, but it tests for 14k gold. Circa 1900.

Here is an intriguing cigarette case. I believe the black pattern is done with niello enamel. It has a flower motif on both sides, and a blank space for a monogram on one side. It is marked (and tests as) Sterling silver. The piece measures 3-7/8 x 2-15/16”, and weighs in at 4.92 ounces. In excellent condition, though since the elastic is in such good condition, I’m assuming it is probably a replacement. I believe this case is pre-1920, but would welcome other opinions.

This terrific bracelet features two plaques with black Taille D'Epargne enamel and delicate engraving. The larger has 3 seed pearls, is very three dimensional, and measures 1” x ¾”. The other is smaller and flat. The tassel is in excellent condition and measures 1-1/2”, the fringe at the end is missing one little ball, one strand of gold has become blackened, and it measures 1-1/4”. The length is adjustable, the maximum wearable length being 8-1/4”, and the mesh band being ½” wide. It is unm ...click for details
