This pendant is classic Arts & Crafts era. Signed by Queensway, and marked Sterling Silver, it sports beautiful enamel which fades from cobalt blue into a dark green. The dropper is a blister pearl set in silver. It measures 1-3/8” (including the drop, but not the jump ring) x 1-1/8”. The nice old unmarked chain might be original to the piece. It tests for 90-100% silver, and is 17”. Both have a nice patina, and the central panel of enamel is chipped, but you really have to look closely to n ...click for details

Here is a coral garland necklace of fascinating construction (see photos). It consists of 7 coral drops, of graduated lengths and sizes, and a final drop on a draping chain. Three of the longest drops are on rigid bars. The coral is a deep dark red, very hard to capture in photos. The entire chain length is 15-1/4”, and the decorated portion is 4-1/4” x 2-1/8” at the longest point. The chain bears the mark for silver jewels imported into Austro-Hungary between 1901-1922, and I believe the tiny “ ...click for details

This is a really nice Arts and Crafts ring, and I’m fairly sure it’s handmade. The 3 moonstones are surrounded by 5 little leaves on creeping vines – very naturalistic. It is approximately size 7-1/4; from north to south it measures just over 1 inch. The moonstones show some signs of wear, as is appropriate to its age, but there are no chips. The marks are illegible, but could be an 8 and a 5 or an S. The ring looks like it’s been resized, and possibly some marks were lost then. The metal shows ...click for details

Here is a sweet sky-blue enamel pendant with blue enamel dropper, on an interesting sterling chain. It tests at 90% - 100%, so is most likely Sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by silver flourishes and dots, in an elongated design. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The entire thing is also enameled on the back – so lovely! Excluding the bale but including the dropper, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across. There are two small areas o ...click for details

Lovely and somewhat unusual Horner pendant, with a Mackintosh feel to the design. The upright bars of silver topped by organic shapes (what someone once called the “cold Art Nouveau” style) give it that Mackintosh feel, and the swirly organic-feeling silver surround lean more toward the “warm” Art Nouveau. The subtle shading of enamel, sky blue into green, is mesmerizing. The drop carries on the theme, though it’s primarily the same sky blue. In excellent condition overall. Here is an unusual and interesting sterling silver and enamel pendant. The enamel colors are white, green, and purple, a combination of colors which has been linked to the suffragette movement in the UK and the USA. What makes this so interesting is the free-standing wire work, which interlaces around the body of the piece, and holds the oval of mother of pearl in place. Another unusual aspect is the presence of some brown enamel. There is a bit of enamel loss on the upper left, but overall this ...click for details

This sweet pendant is centered by what looks like a moonstone, but it could be mother of pearl – I haven’t been able to decide, oddly. It has a tiny pearl dangle. The first 2 links of the chain are elongated “bars,” adding to its charm. It is stamped “STERLING” on the back of the pendant and on the chain’s spring ring. The pendant is also stamped with a "C" in a circle, and "KH97". The pendant measures 1-1/2, and the chain is 18-1/2" long. In excellent condition, with an ...click for details

This is a lovely Jungendstil- or Secessionist-type moth watch pin, with plique a jour wings which fade from green to white. So rare … and in excellent condition! The stone is pale blue paste, though it looks very much like an aquamarine. It is marked “sterling,” and measures 1-1/2” x 1”. The pin stem assembly is original, and it appears to have had a safety chain since there is a little loop toward the bottom on the back. Circa 1900.
