Weird but wonderful, and SO Victorian! Here is a grooming chatelaine from some time in the 1800s – very hard to put a more specific age to this. It has a fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements, a tweezers, an ear-cleaning device, and a third implement for cleaning nails. It tests positive for silver, but is unmarked and with a patina consistent with age. It is lacking a belt hook, otherwise in excellent antique condition. The whole thing measures 6-3/4”. This gorgeous brooch depicts a red poppy in full bloom, with leaves and buds. It was made by the well-known and very collectible Bippart Griscomb & Osborn of Newark, New Jersey. It measures 1” x 1-1/4” and has the long pin stem often found on antique pieces. It has a pearl mounted at the top, and another dangling below. The purchaser might want to clean up the gold on the back. In excellent condition. Circa 1900.

Here is a splendid Arts & Crafts bar pin. It consists of a leaf and berry motif, highlighted by a central cushion-cut chalcedony cab, with a circular aventurine cab on either side. Measuring 1-3/4” x 3/8", it is unmarked but tests as silver. It is in excellent condition, although the pin is somewhat bent. The pin stem assembly may be a replacement, but if so, it’s quite an old repair. Circa 1900 and just lovely.

This is an intricate design by Edmond-Henri Becker, well-known French medalist around 1900. The front of this piece shows Joan of Arc in profile, also a shield decorated with a sword, a crown, and 2 fleurs-de-lis. Above her head is a banner saying “1429” and “Jehanne d’Arc”. The back shows a banner with a saint (or possibly the Madonna and Child) with two people praying. Also pictured are mistletoe, and the pommel of a sword. Marks: on the front is Becker’s signature, and on the C-clasp, a mark ...click for details

Here is a sweet sky-blue enamel pendant with blue enamel dropper, on an interesting sterling chain. It tests at 90% - 100% silver, so is most likely Sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by silver flourishes and dots. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The entire thing is also enameled on the back – so lovely! Excluding the bale but including the dropper, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across. There are two tiny areas of enamel damage on ...click for details

This Victorian or Edwardian fob locket is circa 1890 – 1910. The front has some engraving or chasing, the back is plain, and the inside is empty. It is not set up for photos, but it doesn’t look like it ever was – perhaps it was made to hold a lock of hair? It has a maker’s mark for “N.O” and a hallmark for 14k gold. There are a few dings in the gold, but mostly on the back, and the jump ring shows signs of use and wear. It measures 1-1/4” including the jump ring.
