Here is a lovely necklace in the Etruscan style. It boasts 4 aquamarines, 3 pear-shaped and one oval, and a fringe consisting of droppers made of delicately worked gold, starting from flowers, and ending in tiny seed pearls, all decorated with granulated unmarked but tested 15k gold. It measures 15-1/2” of wearable length. The central dangle is 2” and the side ones are 1-1/4”. It weighs 7.5 g or .26 oz. Circa 1880.

Here is a really lovely sash buckle, designed for Tiffany by the famous George Shiebler. It is marked “Tiffany & Co,” the winged S for Shiebler, “Sterling,” and “4758.” It is 3” x 2”, with a slight curve to it, and weighs 42.2g/1.49oz. Decorated with flowers and foliate designs, it’s a charmer. (Geo. W. Shiebler & Co. were in business under that name from 1876 until almost 1915.) It came in a Tiffany bag, which may be original to the piece. In excellent condition.

This lovely ring is composed of a cluster of 7 amethysts, and on either side of the cluster, one bezel-set accent diamond (of about I quality) and one tiny half seed pearl. The ring is approximately size 6-1/2, and would be easy to re-size. Marked 10K and signed ECI. In excellent condition, with just a bit of patina. The gold is yellow, despite looking rosy in the photos. NOTE that we will only accept a check for this item. Thanks.

Here is a sweet Victorian pin with the cross, anchor, and heart, symbols of faith, hope and charity. It has really nice detail work in the metal. I believe it is made from a layer of gold on top of a layer of copper. The center of the heart is set with a (faux?) seed pearl, and the cross is set with 11 tiny turquoise-colored cabs – they are too tiny for a positive ID. It measures 1-3/16 x 7/8". The gold is worn down here and there, and it has a nice age patina, but overall in quite good con ...click for details

This sweet lady is made of unmarked but tested 18k yellow gold. Spangled with 8 tiny little diamonds, and her hair upswept into a bun with whispy tendrils of hairs around her ears, she is just charming! She measures 1” x 1”, and weighs 2.5g. The gold is a little worn at the high points, and I had the ring repaired, as it was worn very thin – someone clearly loved this jewel! On the back, it looks as though someone made a groove for testing the gold. Otherwise in very good condition, and Circa 19 ...click for details

Here is a lovely pin from the Edwardian era. The central peridot is framed by an oval of seed pearls, set into a delicate arabesque of gold with still more seed pearls, for a total of 30 (2 were missing so I had them replaced). Stamped 14k on the back, with an illegible maker’s mark, this pin was most likely created in Newark, NJ. 1-½” x 7/16". The peridot is slightly scratched, and the safety is a little loose and fussy, otherwise in very good condition and with a nice patina. Circa 1910.

Everything about this piece is right, and so pretty! The enamel is lovely, detailed, and subtle. The use of seed pearls and an accent diamond is perfect. It is both a brooch and a pendant, and the bale is on a swivel; it folds down neatly so that it’s invisible when worn as a brooch. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, about 33 pearls, and an approximately .02 full cut old diamond, just slightly chipped. The jewel measures 1-1/16” in diameter and weighs 5.7g or .2 oz. The enamel appears to be sli ...click for details

Here is a gorgeous pendant/pin with a stylized motif of green to yellow enamel in a floral pattern reminiscent of the French fleur-de-lis. Centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and with a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down neatly when it’s worn as a brooch. I have had the enamel touched up at the edges, so it is now in excellent antique condition. Note: chain not included.

These pretty earrings are marked 375 for 9 karat gold, although they hold for 10k. The hanging flower basket motif is quite charming! They contain a total of 16 rubies and 18 seed pearls. The total length is 1-7/8”, and they weight 4.3g. As usual with older earrings, it’s possible that the wires are replacements. In excellent condition. I believe they are Edwardian, but could be later.
