| Here is a splendid stick pin, depicting a mythological creature of some kind, perhaps a zephyr, or perhaps a very stylized lion. Whatever it is, it is highly sculptural and almost eerie; the diamonds in the eyes sparkle in an intriguing manner. The diamond in the mouth is a cushion cut, an SI or I in clarity and approximately 12 points. Marked 14k, and with something else that might be a maker’s mark. The face measures 7/8 x 11/16”, and the whole thing is 2-1/2" long. It weighs .16oz or 4.3g. In excellent condition. Circa 1900. | ||
