There are traces of the original paint,green and red and perhaps an area of gilt showing in areas. The base is a branch of acanthus leaf stemming from a fleur de lis inverted,measuring 8.5" , it's approx. 13" wide,and projects approx. 7" out. The arms seem to have the original large wooden candle socket covers. It needs to be rewired ...click for details
