9 1/2" diameter Imari "sansui" (landscape) design scalloped edge plate decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze red and green pigment with extensive gilt highlights set against a white porcelain ground. The base bears a small underglaze blue seal and a single spur mark. Late Meiji Period (late 19th century). Very good overall condition. There are a few surface scratches in the glaze but no chips or cracks.
