Chinese late Ming dynasty porcelain guan form jar with wide shoulders tapering to a flat, unglazed base decorated in underglaze blue with lotus flowers and scrolling foliage on a white ground. A short, cylindrical neck ends with an applied light brown wash at the rim. The interior is fully glazed. A luting line is faintly visible at the waist and can be seen and felt on the inside. Chinese Ming dynasty guan form porcelain jar decorated around the circumference in underglaze blue with a pattern of four stylized flowers separated by scrolling foliage set against a white background with a faint celadon-gray hue. Ming dynasty style creamy white slip glazed Cizhou-type stoneware pillow moulded in the form of a small boy crouching on unglazed knees and elbows with head upright, arms folded, and feet slightly raised. Chocolate brown slip glazed accents highlight his collar, tufts of hair, wrist band, and facial features. There is a small vent hole in his backside.
