Very large and heavy antique brass or bronze lockplate for a Chinese wood chest, complete with lock and key. Estimated to date from the late 19th century. The lockplate measures 8 3/8" vertical by 9 3/4" horizontal. The lock is 9" long by 1 7/8" high and the key is about 12" long. Very good overall condition. Chinese elm wood square low table in a natural finish with two deep drawers each on two alternating sides. Brass hardware appears to be original. Late 19th century. 19 5/8"H x 31 3/4" square. There is an old narrow moon shaped burn on the top (see enlargement 3) and there are a few small separations in the wood on the top from shrinkage. This piece is from a Tucson collection and was purchased by expatriates to Taiwan in the 1980's.

Chinese three-drawer elmwood mirrored vanity cabinet with bronze drawer pulls and dark lacquered original finish. Dates circa 1900. Measures 21 1/2"H to the top of the mirror (10 1/2"H to the top of the chest itself) x 25 3/4"W x 6 1/2"D. Both the mirror and chest are in very good overall condition. There are losses to the finish consistent with its age and use. Please note that the lines in the mirror are a reflection from the tile floor.
