Large Ming Longquan celadon charger with everted rim, the center decorated with an incised floral design surrounded by an incised cross pattern around the cavetto. A crackled glaze covers the undecorated underside. The orange base is unglazed within the ringed foot. 14 1/8” diameter x 3” high. Circa 15th century. Chinese late Qing to early Republic period ceramic modeled container shaped like a "ha ma," or toad, with a hollow body and flat base covered in a monochrome pearl glaze with a seeded finish. Measures about 10 ½”L x 9 ¼”W x 6”H. There are some old surface cracks visible. The back section appears to have been restored and the gray areas in the pearl glaze appear to be old restorations which were executed in China. Large Chinese 19th century bombe form stoneware censer with incurving neck and everted rim, high ringed foot, and applied opposing lion-head handles on the shoulders, covered overall with a pale grayish-white Ge style crackle glaze ground. The glaze extends slightly over the rounded rim and to the edge of the foot. The base and interior are unglazed.
