Japanese mid-Showa period (circa 1945-1960) brilliant yellow cloisonne vase decorated with a Chinese style landscape featuring traditional buildings set in a scene of rocky mountains, greenery, and running water. The long, narrow neck gradually flares at the mouth, which is accented with rows of incised abstract triangular-form petals. The bottom is similarly bordered.
