Mid-20th century Japanese woven obi decorated with gold fans set against an orange-red and black background. Very good overall condition with no wear evident. A few barely visible black stains are on the front background (see enlargement 2) and there are a few larger black stains along the edge of the orange-red lining. Measures about 75" long x 10 1/4" wide.

The bottom margin contains in pencil a Japanese kanji title (which appears to translate "flower garden"), the number of the edition (8/50), and the artist's signature.
