Japanese Totai Shippo Cloisonne Kinkozan Satsuma Jar

Japanese cloisonne covered jar on an earthenware substrate with "kidney bean" cloisons, most likely from the Kinkozan Satsuma kiln in Kyoto. The body of the jar is decorated on the front and back with two darker blue floral panels set against a lighter powder blue floral decorated background. Meiji period (circa 1870s). 4 1/2" tall x 4" at the shoulder. Very good overall condition.
