Chinese Song to Yuan Qingbai Yingqing Porcelain Bowl
Chinese late Song to Yuan dynasty qingbai (yingqing) porcelain bowl with a faint blue-green glaze. The glaze extends down the outside of the foot rim while the edge of the foot rim and base are unglazed. It has a nice ring when tapped. Circa 13th/14th century. 5 7/8” diameter x 1 3/4” high. Very good overall condition. There are a few small glaze flakes on the rim that are possibly production flaws (see enlargement 11). Burial marks are evident. From the private collection of a former American expatriate to Guangzhou in 1983-1984.
