| Oversized limited edition Japanese woodblock print by Shimoyama Tsutomu (b. 1945) depicting boats in water viewed from above traditional rooftops. The print is pencil-signed, titled in Japanese kanji, dated '77 and numbered 4/50 in the bottom margin. A brief biography of Shimoyama can be found on page 136 of Helen Merritt's “Guide to Modern Japanese Woodblock Prints: 1900-1975.” Paper size: 15 5/8"V x 21 3/8"H (image: 14 1/4"V x 19 5/8"H). Very good overall condition. Some minor paper wrinkling in the margins. | ||||||||
