| Authentic Edo period Japanese woodblock print depicting a courtesan or geisha dressed in multi-layered kimono standing in a garden of tall iris flowers by Utagawa Yoshiume (1719-1879), a pupil of Kuniyoshi, dated 1862. Standard oban size print measuring 14 5/8"V x 9 3/8"V. The print is in very good, clean overall condition with fresh color. There are a few tiny scattered worm holes. The print is not laid down and the baren marks are clearly visible on the back. No tape or tape stains are on the back. This print has been framed with 100% archival matting. | ||||||||||
