Japanese Woodblock Print - Hiroshi Yoshida 1st Edition

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Sankeien" by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) dated Showa 10 (1935). 1st edition impression with "jizure" (self-printed) seal in the upper left margin. The artist's black ink brush signature and red seal is at the lower right corner of the image. The print is pencil-signed in the lower right margin. Illustrated in "The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi," Abe Publications, color plate #191. Paper measures 16"V x 11"H (image size: 14 3/4"V x 9 5/8"H). There is a vertical brown stain in the right margin (see enlargement 9) which does not impact the image and some faint creasing of the paper at the top of the image (see enlargement 8). This print is otherwise in very good overall condition with large margins and vivid color.
