| Massive Chinese late Qing dynasty (late 19th century) tightly woven lacquer coated reed circular covered folk art container, possibly used for holding dumplings. 19" diameter x 6 1/2" high. Very good overall condition with some wear to the lacquer coating consistent with its age and use. This piece is from the private collection of American expatriates who lived in Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s. | |||||||||
