| Japanese 19th century Imari bowl with foliate rim decorated on the interior with a flowering plant executed in underglaze blue and overglaze enamels with gilt highlights set against a white porcelain ground. Eight underglaze blue cloud forms decorate the exterior. The base is marked with an apocryphal Chinese Ming dynasty "Chenghua year made" mark. 7" diameter x 2 1/8"H. Very good overall condition with typical minor wear to the gilt and enamels. This bowl is from a Santa Fe collection. | ||||||||
