| Dish. Provenance: China. Dating: Late Kangxi period (1662-1722) or Yongzheng period (1723-1735), c.1725-1740. Large dish on footring with a flattened rim and a glazed base. Imari decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red and gold. In the centre a decoration of flowering lotus plants behind a fence. On the interior rim three sprays of flowering chrysanthemum. The reverse is undecorated. Dimensions: Height: 37 mm (1.46 inch), Diameter: 323 mm (12.72 inch), Diameter of footring: 180 mm (7.09 inch). Condition: Two tiny glaze chips to the rim. | ||
