| Teacup. Provenance: China. Dating: Yongzheng period (1723-1735), c.1725-1735. A teacup on footring with a glazed base. Decorated in overglaze iron-red, gold and black. A finely painted decoration of a man and three horses in a landscape with a pine tree growing from rockwork, clouds and the sun. Round the outer and inner rim a border with zig-zag lines and on the bottom a single flowering stem. Dimensions: Height: 36 mm (1.41 inch), Diameter: 62 mm (2.44 inch), Diameter of footring: 28 mm (1.10 inch). Condition: A frit to the outer rim. | ||
