Andre Leon Larue (called Mansion), early 19th century.
Watercolour on ivory. Portrait of George III, in profile, after the original by Allan Ramsay (c. 1762). In this portrait George III wears his powdered wig en queue, and tied with a large black bow, a scarlet coat, a white lace jabot, and the Order of Bath medal to his left breast. Signed "Mansion" to obverse. Enbossed brass frame. Circular, 5 cms. diameter (2 inches). Excellent condition.

The portrait miniature depicts a noble lady and gentleman in a rural setting, who have just desended from a coach, with two servants in a castle in the background. Blue sky with clouds. Circular, 5 1/2 inches diameter. Tortoise shell box, with gilt brass mounts, 3 inches diameter.

Watercolour on ivory. Portrait of a naval officer, c. 1790, with frame with hair back. The officer, with powdered hair and hazel eyes, wears a blue coat with left shoulder epaulette. Unusual, turquoise-blue palette used for background. Brass frame Oval, 8 cms. X 6 cms. (3 inches X 2 1/2 inches). Very good condition.
