Portrait miniature by Frederick Boyd Walters, c. 1920. The water color on paper portrait depicts a young woman with fair hair and blue eyes, a pink corsage of flowers is pinned to her shoulder. Blue background. Signed in pencil to reverse, "F Boyd Walters RMS". Very pretty embossed brass frame. Rectangular, 10 cms. X 3 1/4 cms. (4 1/4 inches X 3 1/4 inches).

The woman, with upswept grey hair and blue eyes, is wearing a high neck lace dress with blue glass beads. Against a pastel blue background. Original brass frame. 19th Century (c. 1840) English School. Water color on card. Portrait of a girl, with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a white dress with pale blue waistband and coral necklace. Rectangular papier-mache frame with embossed brass slip. The miniature, oval, 12 1/2 cms. X 9 1/2 cms. (4 3/4 inches X 3 3/4 inches). Very pretty child with portrait in above average condition. Papier-mache frame also good conditon. A nice, decorative portrait.
