| Watercolor portraits of sisters by the artist, H F Cunningham (fl. 1846-1849). The portrait of the two young ladies, probably sisters, depicts one seated and wearing a white dress, the other standing, and dressed in blue. Behind is a classical column and a landscape. Signed to the obverse and reverse, and dated 1850. Also inscribed and dated "Exeter 1850" on the reverse. Rectangular, 44 cms. X 32 cms. (17 ½ inches X 12 ½ inches). Later period style frame, 50 cms. X 63 cms. (19 ¾ inches X 24 ¾ inches). Excellent condition. | ||||||||
