| English School, c. 1790. Water color on ivory portrait of a child. The 1/2 length portrait depicts a young child with auburn hair and brown eyes in 3/4 pose, wearing a white dress with bright blue sash, and a hat with matching blue feathers. Cream silk backing to the reverse. Gold case. Oval, 4 1/2 cms. X 4 cms. (1 3/4 inches X 1 1/2 inches). Very good condition. | ||||||
