| Perpete Evrard (Eurard), c. 1714. A very early watercolour on vellum portrait of a bewigged gentleman. Set in a Silver frame. The reverse, inscribed, “P/-----d/1714”. Perpete Evrard is a rare miniature artist whose work does not appear on the market very often. He was worn in Dinant (Belgium) on the 23rd of October 1662. He was a portrait painter to both the royal courts of Madrid and Vienna. Evrard died in the Hague in 1727. | ||||||||
